The Wonderful, Wacky and Nerve-Wracking World of Dating
Dating is one of those things in life that should be easy but just doesn’t always seem to work out quite that way. What is it about finding love that is so hard? I guess we could attribute it to everything from high expectations to just not knowing how to play the dating game. I suppose that for some, it’s even something as simple as not really knowing where to look or how to even go about finding dates or asking someone out. Is it impossible to get past those things? Definitely not! You just need a little guidance, that’s all.
Thankfully, we live in a world where several things about dating have been made simpler for us. For instance, finding dates or at least meeting other singles or even friends has been madder easier because of all of the social networking and online dating sites that have popped up over the years. Being an extremely busy or even shy person can make getting out an meeting people hard, but with all of our online tools that are geared to connecting people worldwide; you can get in touch with new people whenever you have the time and there is something about the comfort of being online as opposed to face-to-face that just makes talking to someone new a whole lot easier. We actually get quite brave behind the computer monitor, don’t we? We seem to be able to open up and express ourselves in a way we never dreamed and can even manage to get comfortable enough with someone before the first meeting that helps to make the ever-dreaded first date a lot less awkward.
Speaking of comfort, sometimes more than anything what a person needs is a little advice in the game of love and dating. There are all kinds of questions and dilemmas associated with dating that we need help with. Being able to easily access some unbiased advice is a great thing, especially when your seconds away from going on a date and find yourself needing some last minute tips! Being able to get that advice with a few clicks can definitely ease the stress factor and up the comfort level by a few notches. This is especially great for the guys who need a little help doing romance right. You can score some major brownie points with a little romance done properly you know and who knows what else you can score! *wink-wink, nudge-nudge*
If only dating was just about your soul mate landing on your lap when it’s time with no effort on your part at all, but relying on a cosmic force entirely could leave you waiting a long time and find you very bored in the meantime! You’ve gotta know how to see it as well; dating should be fun—even the dates that don’t turn out to be true love. It’s not just about finding the one! Think of it as meeting new people and potential friends as well, not to mention incredible learning experience. You know what they say; what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and that couldn’t be truer than it is when it comes to dating, love and relationships.
