Date Tips To Remember

You may think that the last thing you need are date tips, but when it comes to the throes of first dates or any dates for that matter; all it can take is a whiff of his intoxicating cologne or a batting of her long eyelashes to make you and your brain turn to a gooey mush, leaving you unable to remember any of the stuff that you knew about what to do—or not do—on a date. So pay attention, take these date tips to heart and feel free to thank me later for saving you from a potential dating hell!

For Online Dating

Be honest about yourself and what you want in a partner to avoid disappointment or embarrassment!

Never give out your personal information! These are strangers you’re dealing with after all.

Always meet your dates in a well populated public place and refrain from getting into cars with them or any place else where you would be closed in and alone with them.

Always tell a friend or relative when you’re going out on a date with someone new and be sure to provide as many details as you can, such as where you’re going, what time, that persons name and number and anything else you can think of.

Keep an open mind when browsing profiles. Take the time to read them and not just look at the photos because you never know what you might be missing or passing right by!

Dating In General

Treat others with the same courtesy and respect that you would expect them to treat you with.

Be positive even if you have been on a billion bad dates! Your positive vibe will rub off on your date and help make the date a lot more fun and upbeat.

Be honest even if you think the truth might hurt them. If you’re just not into someone, then find a polite and sincere way of letting them down easy. It may be hard but leading them on will only make things much worse.

Be confident! Confidence is sexy!! And if you aren’t feeling very confident, then just pretend! It won’t take long till you start to feel it too!

Don’t talk about your exes. There is no need to drag the past into your present dating situation. What happened in the past has no place on your date!

Listen to your date. Out of nerves we can sometimes start rambling on in fear of any dead air or awkward silence, but not letting them get a word in edgewise makes it hard for them to get and stay engaged in the conversation and the date.

Have fun. There is no reason to be so serious that you forget to have any fun on a date! Dates are about having a good time and enjoying each other’s company, so let loose and enjoy!

Consider these date tips to be your Dating 101 or date bible! By using these tips you are pretty much guaranteed a good date whether you two even hit it off or not!
